I’ll soon be releasing the true story (my own!) of An Unlikely Mrs. in a series of posts. You’re not just another single, who has lost hope.
Here’s a preview:
This true story is for anyone who thinks it’s too late to find life-changing love.
Maybe, you haven’t had time for it, with your demanding job.
Maybe, he’s deceived you, hurt you and jaded any reasonable perspective of other men.
Maybe, you’ve missed opportunities with good men, and the current selection is discouraging.
Maybe, a trustworthy friend told you, “You don’t need a man.” And, culture shouted it, too. After all, you can freeze your eggs and try for a baby without a meaningful male relationship.
Then, there’s the repulsive behavior of friends’ husbands: irresponsible, lazy or plain mean. You definitely want to dodge their destructive divorces.
Is there a man out there who can simply make a plan, not demand anything in return for a sweet date, reciprocate good conversation and make an effort to get to know you? Probably not.
The clock has been ticking, and when it gets to the end, you’re afraid it actually leads to a figurative bomb: your chance to get married, have babies (or, just say, “I do”, at this point) and live happily ever after (or, just not die alone?) – blown up.
If you’ve had these kinds of thoughts, this story is for you.
For me, I didn’t know if I lost my shot at fulfilling romantic love. Here’s the story of how I became an unlikely, entirely elated Mrs.
